«In the countryside, about an hour’s drive east of Turin, we found a fine bed and breakfast with gracious and generous owners. Ute and Francesco Garetto raised their family here in a large and comfortable property that began as a 19th century farmhouse.
We stayed in a building apart from the main house. This had been a hay barn before renovations but is now sleekly modern. Handsomely furnished, our suite had large rooms and a full bath. Downstairs was a lounge and kitchen, and the surrounding grounds were well kept, quiet and picturesque.
When we made reservations, Ute Garetto asked about our interests. She then arranged for activities that would be of interest, even driving us around the local area to introduce some favorite places.
We left reluctantly to keep our schedule intact, but we look forward to visiting again.
Cost of our stay was about 65 Euros per night, including breakfast. Great value.»
