The hay barn next to the farmhouse has recently been restored and converted into a luxurious and charming B&B where Ute, who is German, and her husband, Francesco, who is from Piedmont, welcome their guests. They speak Italian, German, English, French, Dutch and Spanish. 
Cascina Le Roasine is the ideal starting point for visits to the surrounding countryside with its numerous wine cellars and medieval attractions, as well as opportunities for shopping. The Piedmont region is renowned for its traditional food and typical local cuisine.

The original roof tiles, brick walls and timber floors, all add to the charm and character of the buildings. Huge windows provide wonderful views of nature in all its seasons. Relax together in the large, comfortable living room, listen to music or choose a book in the language of your choice from the shelves. The open space living has a kitchen island.
In the colder months, you can enjoy the cosy fireplace. Guests are free to enjoy the garden, terrace or covered area outside.

On the first and second floors are the three bedrooms, each with balcony and private bathroom. The large windows offer views of the surrounding fields and hills. The well-furnished bedrooms are very spacious and consist of king-size beds that can be separated to twin beds and there is room to accommodate 6- 10 persons. The interior design and furniture is a perfect fusion of antique and modern including some family heirlooms. Parking is within the gates of the property.

Activities

Our little village lies between Turin and Asti in the Monferrato region of Piedmont (Northwest Italy), nestling among hills dominated by medieval castles. The area boasts more than thirty Romanesque chapels and the splendid Cammino di Don Bosco. at Albugnano.The backdrop is of undulating vineyards, market gardens and fields interrupted only by woods. Cascina Le Roasine in Moncucco Torinese, between the hills of Turin and Asti, is an ideal starting point for a holiday with visits to the surrounding countryside, its numerous wine producers, its towns of Turin, Aosta, Ivrea, Biella and Asti or its authentic markets in smaller centres such as Chieri, whose i historic centre is just a 20-minute drive away, and Castelnuovo Don Bosco.

Surroundings

You can take trips to the Alps and valleys to the West or follow an ancient network of roads and country paths that criss cross the area so you can go from one hill to another. Explore the area for yourself with amazing walks or cycle rides(guided bike tours and bike rental possible). The Piedmont region is renowned for its traditional food and typical local cuisine.
